SARASOTA — Sarasota Green Group has named Scott Allshouse as the company's first CEO.

Sarasota Green Group makes Earth’s Ally and Grower’s Ally organic pest and disease control products.

Allshouse is the former CEO of Buddy Fruits. He has over 20 years of experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry. His experience also includes leadership roles with Campbell Soup Co., H.J. Heinz Co. and The Pillsbury Co. He joined Sarasota Green Group as the company was in its formative stages in June 2018.

The company is preparing to sell its products to retail garden and home improvement centers and directly to consumers through its online store, according to a press release. Earth’s Ally and Grower’s Ally product lines use ingredients such as rosemary, clove and peppermint oils, sea salt and citric acid.

“Eating and growing fruits and vegetables in a healthy manner is very important to today’s consumer,” says Allshouse in a statement. “Sarasota Green Group is on a mission to support gardeners, farmers and growers in providing safe, chemical-free products to their families and customers.”
