ST. PETERSBURG — Milhaus, an Indianapolis-based property development and management firm, is nearing completion of Artistry St. Pete, a $52 million, six-story apartment building located at 1661 Central Ave., between St. Petersburg’s booming Grand Central and Edge districts.

According to a press release, the developer has opened a temporary leasing office at 1016 Central Ave.

Scheduled to open in May, Artistry will offer 246 residential units ranging in size from 525 to 1,257 square feet. The mixed-use project will also feature 10,000 square feet of commercial space and 324 parking spaces.

Milhaus, the release states, has furnished the building with more than $125,000 worth of artwork created by local artists. Artistry will also feature a makers’ space, bark park and pet spa, fitness center, pool and rooftop sun deck and numerous other communal gathering spaces.

“This community sits on land that is bordered by the Edge District on one side and Grand Central on the other. We’re at the center of St. Pete’s cultural scene,” Milhaus Vice President of Marketing Raven Reckley states in the release. “There really is something for everyone here, whether it’s walking over to catch a Rays game at The Trop, participating in First Fridays or access to tons of restaurants, bars and shops, residents are never far from what draws them to the area."
