Architecture firm adds six members to staff

Arturo Lopez, Elizabeth Lee, Chloe Naese, William Blair, Sean Michael Lawler and Amanda Reyes-Martin joined Sweet Sparkman.

SARASOTA — Sweet Sparkman Architecture and Interiors has added six members to its staff.

The newest members of the team are Arturo Lopez, Elizabeth Lee, Chloe Naese, William Blair, Sean Michael Lawler and Amanda Reyes-Martin. T

Lopez's professional experience includes the design of K-12 schools, multifamily housing and commercial mixed-use projects. Lee previously worked at a smaller firm in Miami. She brings experience in design and construction documents and client consultations to Sweet Sparkman’s large-scale commercial projects, according to a statement. 

Naese is a former intern at Sweet Sparkman. She spent time studying in Copenhagen and at the University of British Columbia. Blair worked with an international architectural firm in Miami before joining the City of Sarasota as senior zoning analyst. At Sweet Sparkman, he is involved in the development of high-end residential projects and is the resident expert in zoning, the release says. 

Lawler studied abroad at the Vincenza Institute of Architecture in Italy and has spent time in the construction field, working as a structural carpenter on the waterways outside Tallahassee. Reyes-Martin was born and raised in Cuba. She completed internships at architecture firms in Canada, Cuba and Sarasota, with Sweet Sparkman, according to a statement. 

“As we continue to grow and to expand our capabilities, it is critical that we hire staff with the expertise to meet the demands of the unique environments in which we work," says Sweet Sparkman Founder Todd Sweet in the statement. 

Sarasota-based Sweet Sparkman Architecture and Interiors is a multi-disciplinary architecture and planning firm specializing in community-oriented projects and high-end residential, as well as interior design. It was established as TOTeMS Architecture in 2002. It reported $5.13 million in gross revenue in 2018.
