LAKELAND — Allied Universal, a global security and facilities services company headquartered in Conshohocken, Pa., seeks to hire at least 300 security professionals in the Tampa Bay region and will hold a series of drive-thru job fairs on June 9 and 23 and July 7 at the Amazon Fulfillment Center in Lakeland.

According to a press release, the hiring process will begin with a virtual interview process in which applicants can complete the company’s online application at home via video technology. Then applicants can connect with hiring managers at the drive-thru job fairs.

“We invite applicants to drive up to the parking lot for an interview, and potentially drive off with a job offer,” states Cara Dark, Allied Universal’s director of recruiting for the southeast region, in the release.

Allied Universal offers medical and dental coverage, life insurance, 401(k), holidays and more benefits, the release states.

“Our clients, and the public at large, rely on us to keep our communities and businesses safe and secure especially during these challenging times,” states Steve Jones, chairman and CEO of Allied Universal, in the release. “Our security professionals play a pivotal part ensuring facilities can continue business as usual and other businesses that had to close, can rest assured that their assets will remain protected.”

Allied Universal, the release states, employs more than 235,000 people in North America and had revenues of $8.4 billion in 2019. It also has offices in Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom.
