PALMETTO — Developer and homebuilder WCI will build a new waterfront development in the Palmetto area called Water’s Edge at Sanctuary Cove.
The development will include 15 single-family homesites that are over 80 feet, according to a press release. Five of the homesites are waterfront on the Manatee River and will include a boat slip at the private marina as part of the land purchase.
Water’s Edge at Sanctuary Cove is on the northern banks of the Manatee River with over a mile of river frontage.
The gated community has a guardhouse, 8,600-square-foot clubhouse, pool and outdoor social space overlooking the harbor, game room, grilling areas, fitness center, private beach, harbor walking trail and nature preserve, the release states. Homes start from $1 million and range from 3,502 to 5,621 square feet.
“Water’s Edge at Sanctuary Cove is an incredible opportunity to enjoy beautiful waterfront living, spacious homes and natural privacy away from the nearby bustling city life,” says Mark Metheny, division president for Lennar, the parent company of WCI, in Tampa, in the statement. “The picturesque views and dynamic amenities paired with the ideal location in Palmetto puts you close to everything, yet a world away.”
WCI, a Lennar company, develops and builds single and multifamily homes, including luxury high-rise tower units.
