TAMPA — Moss Construction veteran Mike Mazza has been promoted to president of the firm’s mid-Florida region, a position that gives him responsibility for all operations in the I-4 corridor.
Additionally, according to a press release, Mazza will serve as president of the Fort Lauderdale-based firm’s California, Hawaii and Texas regions.
Mazza, the release states, has more than two decades of experience in the construction industry and is a Tampa resident. He has been an integral part of several iconic projects for Moss in the mid-Florida region, including Clearwater’s Nova Southeastern University’s School of Osteopathic Medicine, Tampa’s Harbor Island Icon apartments, Sarasota’s Ritz Carlton Residences, the Tampa Bay Lightning’s practice facility addition in Brandon.
“From the moment that Mike joined Moss, he has elevated every project in which he’s been involved and embraced our core values,” Moss Construction CEO Scott Moss states in the release. “It’s great to be able to acknowledge Mike, whose ability to lead and inspire teams has helped fuel our tremendous growth.”
Mazza, the release states, is currently leading the construction of Strategic Property Partners’ H-Block apartments in Tampa.
“It’s an honor to be given this incredible opportunity, and to continue to grow with Moss,” Mazza states in the release.
