SARASOTA — Sanitizing manufacturer Durisan has entered into a partnership with Hudson News Distributors to bring the company's products to more than 15,000 locations throughout the Northeastern United States.

Sarasota-based Durisan manufactures sanitizing and germicidal cleaning solutions for residential and commercial use. Durisan’s formula is manufactured in an FDA and EPA-compliant facility, according to a press release.

Hudson News Distributors is a 100-year-old company with a fleet of 400 box trucks. It makes 15,000 weekly store visits across the Northeastern United States, from Virginia to Maine, servicing some 50,000 checkout stands.

“We’re very excited about this new partnership, which will allow us to reach new markets,” says Durisan CEO Troy Daland in a statement. “Durisan continues to grow as a national brand trusted for bringing the best cleaning and sanitizing products to families, businesses and nonprofits. We’re delighted that this association with Hudson News Distributors will open new markets for us throughout New England.”

Durisan was founded in 2014 after developing a durable alcohol-free antimicrobial system for clothing that also worked on other surfaces.
