The Tampa-based casual dining chain has 150 units, including 22 corporate-owned eateries, across central Florida. It celebrated 35 years in business in 2019 and looks to add more franchisees.

According to a press release, the new 4,000-square-foot prototype restaurant is a key part of that strategy, with CEO Chris Elliott and Vice President of Operations Mike Patron in attendance at the grand opening to provide an update about the company and meet with prospective franchisees.

"The new prototype incorporates everything we've learned over the past 35 years to create a great experience for our guests," Elliott states in the release. "This will be the model for all Beef 'O' Brady's restaurants opened in the future. It's just a quick drive from our headquarters in Tampa, so we can take franchise candidates who are considering becoming part of the Beef 'O' Brady's family there to experience the future."

Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, the release states, has achieved sales increases year-over-year since 2009. It aims to continue that momentum with the new restaurant model, which features a horseshoe bar with 20 beers on tap, an outdoor patio space and new kitchen innovations.
