Airline starts new nonstop service to Pennsylvania city

Allegiant now serves 21 nonstop destinations from Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport.

SARASOTA — Allegiant has started service from Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport to Lehigh Valley International Airport in Allentown, Penn. 

The new seasonal flights will operate twice weekly, according to a press release. 

“We’re thrilled to be offering new service to a sought-after Allegiant destination,” says Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue, in a statement. “This beautiful area offers so much for visitors to enjoy, and these new flights are starting at a perfect time for a warm winter getaway.”

With the new service to Allentown, Allegiant now serves 21 nonstop destinations from Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport.

“We are excited to see Allegiant continue to expand the destinations offered at SRQ with new nonstop service to Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE)," says Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport President and CEO Rick Piccolo in the statement. 

Las Vegas-based Allegiant serves more than 450 routes across the country. Allegiant Travel Co. posted $1.84 billion in revenue in 2019.
