Jacksonville builder breaks ground on apartment building in region

LandSouth Construction says Santos Flats Apartments, located in Brandon, will open in winter 2022.

TAMPA — Jacksonville-based general contractor LandSouth Construction has begun construction of Santos Flats Apartments, a new amenities-rich apartment community in Brandon.

According to a press release, the project is being built on the site of the former Bivonia Apartments and is scheduled to be completed in winter 2022. It will feature two four-story buildings and five two-story buildings, and a total of 296 residential units.
