TAMPA — EventPower, an event management company, has not allowed the coronavirus pandemic to slow its growth.

According to a press release, the Tampa-based firm recently inked deals with 11 new clients, including a prominent liquor brand. They'll use eventPower’s Virtual Event Experience platform to plan and conduct online meetings and conferences that, because of the COVID-19 crisis, cannot be safely held in person.

“When COVID-19 hit the industry, our team knew that we had to quickly shift gears in coming up with a solution that allows eventPower to continue to host events in some capacity, and we did just that,” states Laurie Powell, eventPower’s vice president of business development, in the release. “Our proudest moment to date is being able to not only support our current clientele but to add on 11 new clients who will utilize our virtual event platform. We’re proud to separate ourselves from other virtual platforms, by designing a tool that was built by meeting planners, for meeting planners.”

EventPower’s new clients include Tito’s Handmade Vodka, the National Association of State Retirement Administrators, the National Council of State Housing Agencies and the Technology Services Industry Association.
