TAMPA — Kamala Corbett has joined Tampa law firm Hill Ward Henderson as a shareholder in the firm’s land use and real estate group.
Corbett, according to a news release, brings to the firm extensive experience in land use, particularly in areas such as comprehensive planning, annexation, zoning, variances, tree removal, design exceptions, subdivisions, sign permitting, concurrency agreements, development agreements and all aspects of governmental permitting, including stormwater and environmental permitting.
She has also dealt with matters relating to real estate transactions, code enforcement, public records laws, sunshine laws, the Fair Housing Act and ADA accessibility, the release adds.
Prior to joining Hill Ward Henderson, the release states, Corbett was Of Counsel for an Am Law 100 international law firm that provides land use and real estate advice to clients across the firm’s statewide, five-office platform. She also served as the director of due diligence and entitlements for the Tampa/Orlando division of one of the largest public homebuilders in the country.
