National home décor chain opens store in area

CLEARWATER — At Home Group Inc. has opened an At Home home décor superstore in Clearwater, located at 25813 U.S. 19 N.

The Plano, Texas-based company, according to a press release, sells more than 50,000 home décor items at its stores, which average more than 100,000 square feet in size.

At Home Group Inc. operates 209 stores in 39 states. In addition to the Clearwater store, it also recently opened new stores in Crestwood, Ill.; Lincoln, Neb.; and Schaumburg, Ill.

The company reported $1.17 billion in gross revenue in its 2019 fiscal year, up from $950.53 million last year.
