SARASOTA — Todd Haner was named the new chief nursing officer and Stormy Dulovich was promoted to assistant chief nursing officer at Doctors Hospital of Sarasota.
Haner will lead all patient care activities and nursing practices for almost 400 nurses and nursing-related staff at the hospital, according to a press release.
Haner has more than two decades of nursing experience. Most recently, he was chief nursing officer at Lower Keys Medical Center in Key West. He was also previously director of orthopedic/neurosurgery and oncology services; vascular access and stroke program; and emergency services at University of Miami Hospital in Miami. He also previously oversaw emergency and pediatric services at Naples Community Hospital Healthcare System in Naples.
“Todd’s vast experience will serve us well as we work on offering new programs and expanding our current capabilities," says Doctors Hospital of Sarasota CEO Robert Meade in the statement. "Through his career, he has focused on providing the best patient care and quality. That is what our nurses and team are committed to every day."
In addition to her new role, Dulovich will also remain director of nursing for critical care, hemodialysis and the extended care units at Doctors Hospital.
Dulovich joined Doctors Hospital of Sarasota in 2016. She has more than 20 years of bedside nursing experience, according to the press release. She also led a system-wide, critical response team for central Ohio care sites for the Ebola outbreak in 2014.
Doctors Hospital of Sarasota is a 155-bed hospital and free-standing emergency department serving Sarasota and Manatee counties.
