Health care organization names executive vice president

SARASOTA – Stratum Health System, parent company of Tidewell Hospice and other health care subsidiaries, named Debbie Mason executive vice president/chief philanthropy officer.

Mason comes to Stratum with 30 years in C-suite and senior executive philanthropy, marketing and communications roles, according to a press release. 

Her past experience includes serving in leadership of several nonprofit organizations and foundations, as well as in executive corporate and consulting roles. Most recently, Mason was CEO of the Healthcare Foundation Northern Sonoma County in Healdsburg, Calif.

As executive vice president/chief philanthropy officer, Mason will lead a team of philanthropy professionals charged with growing philanthropic support for Stratum and its affiliated organizations (Tidewell Hospice, Approved Home Health, Avidity Home Health and Connexis Medical Services) through strategic planning, enhanced communications and relationships.

Mason also serves on the executive leadership team of Stratum Health and Tidewell Hospice, the release adds.
