Hospital selects chief quality officer

VENICE — Venice Regional Bayfront Health has appointed Carole Beauchamp as the hospital’s chief quality officer.

Beauchamp has more than 30 years of health care experience in clinical, management and consulting roles, according to a press release. 

Most recently, she served as a quality consultant to Bayfront Health hospitals, including Venice Regional. Previous roles include senior quality consultant with a Pennsylvania-based firm.

Beauchamp has had leadership roles with oversight over quality, regulatory and case management for Tenet Health System, Vanguard Health Systems, IASIS Healthcare, CHS and HCA. She also served as the interim chief nursing officer for Province Healthcare-Selma Baptist Hospital. Beauchamp began her health care career in Florida as a registered nurse at Boca Raton Community Hospital. 

Venice Regional Bayfront Health is a 312-bed, acute care hospital providing health care services to the greater Venice area.
