SARASOTA — Brunch concept Georgie’s Garden Cafe will open at UTC, a shopping and dining area in Sarasota.
The restaurant is the sister concept of Naples brunch restaurant Jane’s Garden Cafe, according to a press release. In Naples, it opened in 2003 in the Third Street South district.
In Sarasota, the restaurant will have a contemporary, upscale-casual setting with a menu of breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes, including vegan and gluten-free dishes. It will also serve coffee drinks and cocktails.
The restaurant is expected to open in early 2020. It will be in a 2,000-square-foot space adjacent to Acropolis Greek Taverna along North Cattlemen Road.
“Georgie’s Garden Cafe will be an inviting place for people to eat, drink and socialize,” says Owner George Wood in a statement. “UTC is known for its thriving and diverse culinary scene, and we’re thrilled to soon be a part of it.”
