NAPLES — A national developer announced it plans to build a new 75-acre community of 163 single-family homes off U.S. 41 and Manatee Road in eastern Collier County.

The developer, Pulte Homes, will begin constructing model homes for the neighborhood, called Manatee Cove, early next year, according to a news release.

“Manatee Cove offers value and a vibrant Naples location with everything they need within reach,” Richard McCormick, president of PulteGroup’s Southwest Florida Division, says in the release. “The community is the perfect complement to our life tested home designs that allow personalization and room for growth to fit the way families live today.”

The community, located near Manatee Elementary and Middle schools, will offer one- and two-story designs with smart home technology. Prices have not been announced yet, but the release says there will be no community development district fees. Amenities will include a pool, cabana and fire pit.
