Restaurant opens new pizzeria concept

BRADENTON — Sarasota-based beer and pizza restaurant Oak & Stone has launched a new concept, Oak & Stone Fastfire.  

Oak & Stone Fastfire opened Sept. 26 at 6220 14th St. W. in Bradenton, according to a press release. It's the brand’s fourth location and first quick-serve, fast-casual pizzeria offering counter service.  

Oak & Stone first opened in Sarasota in 2016. The 2,500-square-foot Oak & Stone Fastfire includes a tap wall with self-serve beer and wine. Special emphasis is given to local and regional breweries, such as Darwin Brewing, Calusa, Naughty Monk and Big Top. 

The location has indoor seating for about 50 guests. 

“We’re very excited with the launch of Oak & Stone Fastfire,” says Brett Decklever, co-founder of Oak & Stone, in the statement. “This new concept brings the elements that guests love about Oak & Stone in a location that is convenient and easily accessible.” 

Oak & Stone has two Sarasota locations on University Parkway and Clark Road and a location in downtown St. Petersburg. The brand expects to open its fifth location in Bradenton in November inside the SpringHill Suites hotel and in Naples in late 2019.
