Frontier Communications, which bought Verizon telephone lines in Florida, California and Texas in 2016 for $10.5 billion, is selling a Clearwater office building that was part of that package.
The communications company has retained commercial real estate brokerage firm CBRE Group to market the vacant four-story building, according to real estate research firm CoStar Group and its Loopnet online marketing site.
CBRE officials could not be reached to provide an asking price for the 1280 S. Cleveland St. building.
The 183,093-square-foot building had been owned and operated by Verizon Communications prior to the Frontier purchase.
Completed in 1970, the building sits on 3.4 acres and provides four surface parking spots for every 1,000 square feet of office space, according to CBRE marketing materials.
CBRE Senior Vice President Dale Peterson is listing the property for Frontier, along with the firm’s Kristen McFarland and Courtney Snell.
