Area law firm adds tort attorney, decorated veteran as shareholder

TAMPA — Hill Ward Henderson named Cory Person a shareholder in the firm’s litigation and employment law groups.

According to a press release, Person — a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law — specializes in defense of products liability, premises liability and complex tort claims. He also boasts extensive experience in representing employers in litigation arising out of discrimination, harassment and non-competition agreements. 

Person, the release states, served as a non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Army prior to enrolling in law school. He is a recipient of the Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal and the Army Commendation Medal.
