NAPLES — With a goal of strengthening its private wealth management practice in Southwest Florida, SunTrust Bank added a team of four wealth management professionals in Naples. Led by Senior Vice President and Managing Director Amy West, the new SunTrust team will serve high-net worth individuals and families from Marco Island to Fort Myers, according to a statement.
West, a certified trust and financial advisor, brings nearly 20 years of wealth management experience to her role as managing director. Previously, she was senior vice president and managing director of the Florida division of Hawthorn, the ultra-high net worth segment of PNC Bank.
“Southwest Florida is important to SunTrust and a region we’ve long served, providing investment management, financial planning and banking solutions,” says Joe Thompson, head of SunTrust Private Wealth Management in the statement.
Joining West in Naples are client advisors Greg Hunter and Tayna Cutrone and client service specialist Manon Yost. Hunter worked for more than 30 years in wealth management at J.P. Morgan and Wells Fargo. Cutrone is a former attorney in private practice and trust officer with tax and estate planning expertise. Yost has partnered with West to serve affluent families for more than eight years.
Headquartered in Atlanta, SunTrust Banks has total assets of $220 billion and total deposits of $162 billion.
