SARASOTA — Craig Smith was promoted to partner and vice president of customer relationships for Pinnacle Community Association Management.

The Sarasota-based company provides management services for small- to medium-sized homeowners and condominium associations throughout Southwest Florida.

Smith is a Licensed Community Association Manager with more than 18 years of experience in community service contracting, delivery and management, according to a press release. He will spearhead Pinnacle’s client-building, marketing and community outreach efforts, while also managing a portfolio of existing clients for the company.

Before joining Pinnacle in October 2018, Smith was an executive manager with Allied Universal and former equity partner with Alert Protective Services. He also served for nine years as a regional president for Securitas Security Services USA, where he managed a $250 million region that included over 7,500 employees, a release says. Prior to that, he was director of solutions development for G4S, a global security solutions firm, where he was responsible for developing organic growth within technology products and services in the U.S.

“Craig’s dedication to superior customer service and his management experience gained while working with some of south Florida’s most prestigious communities position our company well for future growth,” says Pinnacle co-founder Jason Hamilton in a statement. “We are thrilled to have him join our ownership and executive leadership team.”
