OLDSMAR — Spectrio, a provider of in-store and telephone marketing services, has acquired Plano, Texas-based Media Distribution Solutions (MDS), which specializes in low-cost, on-demand custom video creation.
In a press release, Spectrio says the deal accelerates its ability to provide content at scale, both online and on-site. The MDS platform, it says, allows small- and medium-sized businesses to distribute content online, on social media, on television and through other digital distribution channels.
MDS clients will now be able to use Spectrio’s in-store digital platform to deliver content inside their location, allowing them to bridge online marketing and on-location experience to strengthen brand consistency and identity.
“Delivering a consistent marketing message both online and in-store is key for any business in order to build trust and loyalty with their customers,” Spectrio CEO Dax Brady-Sheehan states in the release. “This acquisition allows us to offer our customers fresh, turn-key, personalized video content they can integrate across the entire shopper journey.”
MDS, according to the release, has produced and delivered more than 500,000 videos for SMBs worldwide. Its platform also allows clients to manage online video campaigns and monitor customer data.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed in the release.
