SARASOTA — Frontier Airlines will add nonstop service from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) to Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ).

Service between the airports will start Oct. 10 with flights three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, according to a press release. The service is seasonal, so frequency and times are subject to change.

In addition to the new route, Frontier also announced its nonstop service to Philadelphia (PHL) would return Nov. 14 with flights three times a week on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Frontier currently provides year-round service to Cleveland (CLE) two times a week on Mondays and Fridays.

“We’re delighted to expand our service in Sarasota with this new route to Cincinnati,” says Josh Flyr, vice president of network and revenue for Frontier Airlines, in the statement. “Frontier began service at SRQ last year and will now serve three nonstop routes from the airport.”
