TAMPA — Software development firm AgileThought, headquartered in Tampa, has been acquired by AN Global, an Irving, Texas-based company whose services include analytics, omnichannel commerce, software development, cloud solutions and user experience.

According to terms of the deal disclosed in a press release, the combined company will rebrand as AgileThought and its joint workforce will exceed 3,000 employees, with offices in the United States, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Portugal and Spain. The headquarters will remain in Irving.

Manuel Senderos, founder and chairman of AN Global, will become chairman and CEO of the combined company. AgileThought CEO and co-founder David Romine has been named managing director.

“We look forward to the opportunities this new phase in AgileThought’s journey will bring to our team members and our clients,” Romine states in the release. “We believe the combined strengths and aligned cultures of the two organizations create a company with a very compelling end-to-end service line, from product portfolio ideation, validation and management to continuous delivery and long-term maintenance of global enterprise technology solutions.”

Since it was founded in 2004, AgileThought has generated average revenue growth of 44% per year, the release states. In 2019, it made the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies for the 12th consecutive year and was also a finalist for the Global Microsoft Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Partner of the Year Award.
