Homebuilder opens new villa community

Poinciana will include 82 villa homes, a pool, a spa and a nature preserve.

BRADENTON — Homebuilder Neal Communities is marking the grand opening of its newest community, Poinciana.

The gated community is in Bradenton, between University Parkway and State Road 70.

Poinciana will have paired villas in a British West Indies style, according to a press release. The community will include 82 villa homes, a pool, a spa and a nature preserve.

Both floor plans offered within the community have two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a two-car garage. The Tidewater plan is 1,524 square feet with a lanai, den, open floor plan and great room. Crystal Sand is 1,434 square feet with a lanai, great room, open floor plan and oversized kitchen island. Villa pricing starts in the mid-$200,000s.

Lakewood Ranch-based Neal Communities has built over 14,000 new homes in more than 90 communities from Tampa to Naples. According to a statement, company sales in fiscal year 2018 were $464 million.
