SARASOTA — After 15 years of being based in New York City, Interior designer and industry blogger Sarah Baynes has relocated her business to Sarasota.

The firm, Sarah Baynes Interiors, specializes in residential and commercial interiors, according to a statement. It focuses on creating environments with a fresh, sophisticated perspective, the release adds.

Also, the firm’s website, SarahBaynes.com, a popular interior design blog, has been featured in print and online publications such as House Beautiful, Elle Decor and Dwell.

Baynes founded her interior design practice and blog in 2011, after working for two other New York City decorators. She studied interior design at Parsons The New School for Design in New York City, and has a degree in English Literature from Haverford College.
