Development group breaks ground on new headquarters

Seagate will design and build its own 13,000-square-foot facility in Fort Myers at Interstate 75 and Alico Road.

FORT MYERS — Full-service commercial and residential construction company Seagate Development Group has broken ground on its new headquarters at Interstate 75 and Alico Road. The two-story, 13,000 square-foot building will house the executive and general office staff. 

First floor features, according to a statement, will include a reception area with stone flooring and walnut wood details; three conference rooms for client meetings; a training room; and office space for Seagate staff. In addition to executive offices, the second floor will feature 11-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, and include a board room, bar area, outdoor balcony, design studio and collaborative workspaces.
