Locally owned bank names senior vice president

St. Petersburg’s Freedom Bank welcomes Amanda Gilroy to its commercial lending team.

ST. PETERSBURG — Freedom Bank, a locally owned bank based in St. Petersburg, named Amanda Gilroy a senior vice president in its commercial lending division.

According to a press release, Gilroy brings to the role nearly 20 years of experience in banking, commercial lending and credit analysis. Much of her experience has been with financial institutions in the Tampa Bay area.

“We are pleased to add a talented individual like Ms. Gilroy to our Commercial Lending Team,” states Adam Curtis, Freedom Bank’s executive vice president of commercial banking, in the release.

Freedom Bank reported gross annual revenue of $11.8 million in 2018, up from $8.9 million in 2017. It had $306.2 million in assets through Sept. 30, according to Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. data.
