CLEARWATER — Trisha Blake has joined Clearwater Marine Aquarium in the newly created role of vice president of sales and marketing.
Blake’s career, according to a press release, includes stints with the Las Vegas Convention & Visitor Authority, Caesars Entertainment and Los Angeles International Airport. At CMA, she will be responsible for the development and implementation of revenue-growth strategies that will support the aquarium’s mission as it prepares to unveil its expanded facility in 2020.
“Trisha joins us at a critical time in CMA’s history,” CMA CEO David Yates states in the release. “The opening of our expanded facility provides her with the opportunity to truly make an impact on our core revenue which funds our animal care, research and conservation efforts. I’m excited to have Trisha on our team and see the impact her expertise will have on our future.”
CMA’s $70 million expansion will give the facility the capacity to host large group events, ranging from business meetings to dream weddings.
“I’m very excited to be a part of this amazing team and the vision for CMA’s future,” Blake states in the release. “It’s an incredible opportunity to be on the ground floor as the new facility is launched and I look forward to the potential that lies ahead.”
