TAMPA — Cybersecurity and privacy compliance firm A-LIGN has announced plans to expand its downtown Tampa headquarters, a project that includes a $500,000 investment in local community organizations.
The newly renovated headquarters, celebrated at a ribbon-cutting event Dec. 5, spans an entire floor of Rivergate Tower, according to a statement. The project will increase the previous office space by 25% in order to accommodate the 74% employee growth in the past year. The $500,000 investment, the release adds, will go to Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay, Think Big for Kids and technology incubator programs. A-LIGN posted $39.6 million in revenue in 2018, up 135% from 2016.
“We’re excited about the future of A-LIGN’s ascent ahead,” says CEO Scott Price in the release. “For over a decade, we have stayed committed to serving both the growing needs of our clients and encouraging entrepreneurship and success for kids in our local community. As we grow our practice, it’s imperative we grow our investment within the community.”
A-LIGN, founded in 2009, has added 100 employees and over 800 clients this year. It now supports 2,300 clients with more than 320 global employees, the release states, and recently opened an office in Bulgaria. The expanded office space, the release states, “will help with the recent growth in the sales, marketing and recruiting teams and allow the company to better accommodate remote employees when visiting the company’s headquarters in Tampa.”
