In the latest case of a major broker shift in the Tampa Bay area, Erica Waltermire has moved to Colliers International Tampa Bay, Central and Southwest Florida to be part of the firm’s retail services team.

The firm’s new Executive Managing Director comes to Colliers International from rival CBRE Inc.’s Tampa office, where she had worked for the past decade.

Over the course of $250 million worth of retail real estate deals, Waltermire has worked with clients such as Bank of America Plaza owner Banyan Street Capital; MetWest landlord MetLife Real Estate; investment houses Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Chase.

“Colliers really dominates the retail space in this market, and I wanted to grow and be part of a larger team,” says Waltermire. “Their team-based environment will allow me to handle more business.”
