Investment firm promotes from within for VP role

TAMPA — Skyway Capital Markets LLC, a middle-market investment firm based in Tampa, has promoted Bill Bright to vice president of business development.

In his new position, according to a press release, Bright will reach out to select businesses that certain buyers and investors are seeking, in an effort to educate them on capital markets options that might be available to them.

“I am pleased to expand my role at Skyway,” Bright states in the release. “There is nothing more rewarding than introducing a business owner to the possibilities our team offers and being a part of their success.”

Bright, who moved to Florida in 2005, previously served as an associate focused on business development at Skyway.

“We are pleased for Bill to assume his new role,” Skyway Capital Markets CEO Russ Hunt states in the release. “He has demonstrated a high level of leadership in our business. His ability to help clients achieve their goals has proven successful time and again.”
