Capriotti's has 100 operating locations and more than 130 new shops in progress.
It's also planning to bring three units to Jacksonville, three to the Philadelphia suburbs, three to New York City, eight to Phoenix and three to the Chicago suburbs, among other cities in Indiana, Texas, North Carolina, Idaho, Colorado and Missouri.
"We are thrilled to see our Capriotti's fan base grow as our passionate franchise partners work to bring our award-winning food to even more communities across the country," says Capriotti's Sandwich Shop CEO Ashley Morris in a statement. "We have created a proven business model that provides franchisees with the tools they need to bring customers a high-quality dining experience and are looking forward to continuing this momentum through the rest of 2019 and beyond."
Capriotti's Sandwich Shop was founded in 1976. A press release says the Las Vegas-based franchise slow-roasts whole turkeys in-house every day. The sandwich "The Bobbie" is the chain's best-seller, made with homemade turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and mayonnaise on a soft roll.
