TAMPA — Taylor Morrison, a national homebuilder headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz., has broken ground on Esplanade at Wiregrass Ranch, a 55-and-over community that will feature 868 single-family and detached villa homes.

The resort-style community will be located in Wesley Chapel near the Shops at Wiregrass and Interstate 75.

"We are excited to introduce another Esplanade signature lifestyle community, this one offering 55+ resort-style living,” states Douglas Miller, Taylor Morrison’s Tampa division president, in a press release. “Homeowners at Esplanade at Wiregrass Ranch will enjoy private amenities and a selection of beautifully designed homes.”

Homes will be designed in a California Tuscan style, according to the release, and the community’s amenities will include a resort-style pool, fitness center and sports venues. Esplanade at Wiregrass Ranch will employ a full-time lifestyle manager who will coordinate events, special activities and parties for residents.
