Area health care firm acquires Jacksonville company

The deal makes Analytics Partners part of Tampa’s HealthAxis Group.

TAMPA — HealthAxis Group has acquired the stock and assets of Analytics Partners, a data and risk analysis company headquartered in Jacksonville.

Tampa-based HealthAxis Group is a software-as-a-service supplier of health care benefit platform systems. In a press release, the company says the acquisition adds a robust suite of business intelligence and analytics services to its current offerings.

“Analytics Partners’ extensive experience in the health care arena and established strengths directly tie into our vision of providing complete, shareable data and effective communication throughout health care delivery pipeline,” HealthAxis Group CEO Shilen Patel states in the release. “With the sophisticated data mining and analytic capabilities, the procurement of Analytics Partners moves us closer to our goal of providing the health care industry with one complete holistic approach that prepares them to meet the challenges ahead.”

The merged companies will do business under the HealthAxis Group brand, the release states.

“Analytics Partners, in combination with HealthAxis Group, allows our teams to strengthen the overall platform and bring our advanced analytic capabilities to the next level,” Analytics Partners CEO Lisa Davis states in the release. “Together, with the complete integration of clinical, hospital, pharmacy and claims data, we are one step closer to providing next generation level of care based on proactive evidence-based decisions.”
