TAMPA — Andrew Gay has joined the Tampa office of law firm Carlton Fields as a member of the firm’s construction practice.
Gay’s hire comes on the heels of another addition to the construction practice, Frank Moya, earlier this month.
According to a press release, Gay offers his clients a business and legal insider’s view of the construction and real estate industries. Prior to his law practice, he was a construction project manager for east Manatee County-based Benderson Development Co., a large, privately held real estate firm.
Gay has also worked as associate general counsel at English Construction Co., one of Virginia’s largest general contractors, as well as Gentry Locke in Roanoke, Va., as an associate attorney in the firm’s construction law and litigation practice group, the release adds. Gay’s practice focuses on construction contracts and litigation for all sectors of the construction industry.
