ST. PETE BEACH — TradeWinds Island Resorts, which operates the Island Grand and Guy Harvey Outpost in St. Pete Beach, plans to embark on a $13 million renovation project that will see nearly 500 guestrooms completely remodeled over the coming year.

Renovations are already underway at Guy Harvey Outpost and the Island Grand’s Jacaranda building, according to a press release.

Rooms at both properties will new sofa beds, carpeting, fresh paint and upgraded bathroom mirrors and lighting. All soft goods will be replaced, including bedding, draperies and upholstery. Beachfront balconies and new sliding-glass doors will be added to 56 Guy Harvey rooms, the release states.

Tradewinds expects the Guy Harvey Outpost renovations to be completed first, in February. The entire project is scheduled for completion by spring 2020.
