SARASOTA — Architecture and design firm Clifford M. Scholz Architects has named two new partners — Rick Oswald and Daniel Shaffer.
According to a press release, Oswald and Shaffer have 44 years of combined experience. They will work with Scholz to oversee all aspects of the Sarasota-based firm.
Oswald will be the firm’s senior vice president. He has over 40 years of experience as a registered architect and general contractor in Colorado. He started a design-build firm in 1996 in Colorado, previously known as Terra Verde Development. Scholz and Oswald have worked together on various projects as a joint venture over the past five years, a statement says.
Shaffer is a licensed architect in Florida. He has been with the firm for four years. His new role of junior vice president will include managing client projects and serving as a leader for the Clifford M. Scholz Architects team.
“The addition of Rick and Daniel as handpicked partners is a way for the firm to get even better, expand our workload and market sectors and continue doing great design work,” says Scholz in a statement.
Clifford M. Scholz Architects designs luxury residential and commercial spaces. For 26 years, Clifford Scholz has served as the principal.
