Law firm elects new managing partner

Matthew Plummer will continue to lead Blalock Walters' real estate, banking, finance, land use and local government law practice groups.

BRADENTON — Blalock Walters P.A. has elected Matthew Plummer as the law firm's new managing partner.

“Matt is a common sense leader of unquestioned integrity,” says Cliff Walters, Blalock Walters chairman and past managing partner, in a statement. “He continues to demonstrate uncommon skills in developing talent and in serving clients. I have total confidence in his abilities and leadership.”

Plummer will also continue to lead the firm’s real estate, banking, finance, land use and local government law practice groups. He joined Blalock Walters in 2008. Since then, he's served in various leadership roles within the firm, including principal, practice group leader, board director and mentor to associate attorneys. 

“With our core of seasoned attorneys and continued development of our young associates, we are ready to adapt and assist our clients in this ever-changing market," says Plummer in the statement.  

Blalock Walters is a multi-practice, regional business law firm with offices in Bradenton and Sarasota. It has over 25 attorneys.
