New $3.5 million amenity center opens in community

The 8,900-square-foot clubhouse has a fitness center, community room and outdoor verandah.

SARASOTA — DiVosta’s Hammock Preserve on Palmer Ranch recently opened a new $3.5 million amenity center in the Sarasota community.

According to a press release, Hammock Preserve’s amenity center was designed with input from residents.

“Hammock Preserve embodies casual, resort-style living at its best, with amenities homeowners want and truly appreciate,” says Richard McCormick, president of DiVosta in Southwest Florida, in the statement. “Residents will enjoy the exceptional pool and spa, outdoor bar and a fire pit sitting area for quiet evenings with friends and neighbors.”

Hammock Preserve has a dog park, two tennis courts, two bocce ball courts and two pickleball courts. The 8,900-square-foot clubhouse includes a fitness center, large community room with catering kitchen and outdoor verandah overlooking the pool.

The gated community will have 388 homes. The community has attached villas and single-family homes with two to five bedrooms priced from the low $300s.  

Hammock Preserve on Palmer Ranch is at 12255 Hidden Hammock Court off Honore Avenue.
