TAMPA — Tampa Family Health Centers appointed Sherry Hoback president and CEO. She succeeds Charles Bottoms, who served as TFHC’s president and CEO for 20 years.
According to a press release, Hoback has more than 22 years of health care experience, including more than 10 years with TFHC, a local nonprofit network of primary care clinics.
“I am very excited to have Sherry Hoback as the new CEO of Tampa Family Health Centers,” states Dr. Monica Rider, TFHC’s chief medical officer, in the release. “She has worked tirelessly in the community and it will be an honor and a privilege to work with her as she continues her commitment of providing quality care to the underserved community.”
Hoback joined TFHC in 2008. During her tenure, she has held several leadership positions, including chief clinical services officer and chief operations officer.
“It did not take me long to realize what a special place we have here at TFHC, and I am thrilled to lead this organization,” she states in the release.
