Co-working spaces continue to proliferate in Tampa.

In January, Industrious opened its doors in the city's downtown core. Two more have since popped up.

One is Station House, with a South Tampa location that follows its original spot, in downtown St. Petersburg. The other newbie is Office Evolution, a national chain of co-working spaces that secured a location in the Westshore business district.

The new Station House, dubbed Station House Hyde Park, is part of Block H, the final stage of the 300,000-square-foot Hyde Park Village project WS Development launched in 2015. Station House will occupy about 30,000 square feet within a two-story building at the intersection of Snow Avenue and South Dakota Avenue.

“Station House embodies everything we were hoping to bring to the village,” says WS Development COO Samantha Perry David in a press release. “It will not only be a stunningly beautiful space but one which is full of energy and designed as a true hub for the community.”

Office Evolution, meanwhile, is in the 10-story Lincoln Center building at 5401 W. Kennedy Blvd. In contrast with the locally owned Station House, Office Evolution utilizes a franchise model. According to the company's website, the Tampa location is owned and operated by John Przedpelski, a former IT and project management professional.

In a press release, Przedpelski says he plans to bring two more Office Evolution locations to Tampa. “Once we complete the other two centers, our members will have access to all three Tampa locations, as well as all other Office Evolution locations throughout the U.S. when traveling,” he says in the release.

Office Evolution has also targeted Jacksonville for expansion.
