Naples-based Premiere Plus Realty continued its growth surge in 2017, surpassing $1.4 billion in sales volume.

In addition to an all-time high in that category, Premiere reported more real estate transactions than any other independent Southwest Florida firm in 2017, according to multiple listing services and company data. One of the firm's niches is agents keep 100% of their commissions, a factor that has led to rapid growth in that count, too. The firm now has some 1,100 agents, and adds about 30 a month.

“The agents at Premiere Plus Realty are star performers who helped vault the company to where it is today,” Premiere CEO Eric Gallus says in a statement. “Our success has attracted the best agents in Southwest Florida and we plan to continue to grow.”

Premiere had 3,814 transactions in 2017. Of those, 269 transactions totaling $116.7 million were new construction. While Naples remains its biggest source of deals, the firm recently pushed northward into Charlotte County, and expanded in north Lee County.

Agents decide their own commission rate at Premiere Plus, but Gallus says Premiere is not a discount brokerage. Agents typically charge commissions of 6%, split evenly with either the buyer or seller's agent.

And the agents, while they mostly work from home, can rely on the home office for support. At the office, they get first-come-first-serve use of desk space, computers, conference rooms and coaching and support in exchange for a monthly license fee of $112 to Premiere.
