Foundation leader named to state organization

SARASOTA — The Consortium of Florida Education Foundations elected Jennifer Vigne, president of the Education Foundation of Sarasota County, as a member at large.

According to a press release, Vigne is one of the five statewide members who govern the membership organization for Florida's district-wide local education foundations, along with three statewide officers.

The Consortium of Florida Education Foundations has 63 member foundations and collectively 1,100 volunteer board members, raising more than $63 million annually to support students, teachers and schools. The Education Foundation of Sarasota County is an independent partner that works to advance philanthropic support for Sarasota County Schools.
