American Airlines will add nonstop service to Chicago O'Hare International Airport from Sarasota Bradenton International Airport.

According to a press release, it will be a daily service operating seasonally starting Dec. 19.

For the flights, American Airlines will operate an E75 Embraer RJ-175 aircraft. Tickets for the route are now available.

“We are happy to see the expansion of service with American Airlines at SRQ," says Sarasota Bradenton International Airport President and CEO Rick Piccolo in a statement. "This new Chicago (ORD) nonstop service will provide our customers more choices when traveling to or from the Chicago area."

Earlier this summer, American Airlines announced it was adding nonstop service to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport from Sarasota Bradenton International Airport. That daily service will operate seasonally and also start Dec. 19.
