TAMPA — Tampa Bay Tech, a nonprofit technology council, appointed Jill St. Thomas co-executive director.

St. Thomas has been with Tampa Bay Tech for six years, having previously served as director of memberships and director of partnerships and engagement. In her new role, she will work alongside fellow co-executive director Daniel James Scott, who has led the organization since 2015.

“Given Jill's extensive background in marketing, as well as her tenure here, the elevation seemed a natural progression,” Scott states in a press release.

“Jill's exceptional track record of leadership, successful fundraising, and effective marketing and communications makes her an ideal choice for this role as Tampa Bay Tech continues to see enormous growth,” adds Jeff Alagood, COO of Agile Thought and chair of Tampa Bay Tech's board of directors, in the release.

Tampa Bay Tech was founded 18 years ago to help grow, represent and connect companies in what, the release states, has become the nation's second fastest-growing technology hub.
