Former Fidelity exec joins consulting firm as COO

TAMPA — BlueLine Associates hired Steven McCarthy as its new COO.

McCarthy comes to the Tampa-based management consulting and professional services firm from Fidelity Investments, where he enjoyed a 17-year career in a variety of leadership roles, most recently senior vice president of operations for the company's North Carolina region.

"Steve is a proven leader, who consistently delivers strong business results," states Rocky Silvestri, BlueLine president and CEO, in a press release. "With his background and experience, I have every confidence in his abilities to align our internal operations with our long-term goals. We are excited he has joined our team.”

According to the release, McCarthy has also led national operations and functional teams at major companies such as Staples and UPS.

At BlueLine Associates, he will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the company, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
