TAMPA — World of Beer has made its debut in one of the nation's top markets for craft brew: Washington state.

The Tampa-based chain of craft beer pubs — which already has more than 75 locations in 23 U.S. states, as well as China and South Korea — opened a new location at the Kitsap Mall in Silverdale, Wash., this month.

According to a press release, the Silverdale World of Beer will provide more than 50 craft brews on tap and hundreds in the cooler. It will feature nearly 40 Washington beers on tap.

Additionally, the Silverdale location will feature a private dining room for special occasions and events.

“World of Beer looks forward to bringing our passion for craft beer culture to Washington,” states Paul Avery, CEO and president of World of Beer, in the release. “We are excited to serve the surrounding community in addition to military personnel and their families.”

Avery adds that the new location will also include a kitchen offering “a full beer-inspired menu.”
